How could it be faked? I don't see how...?(

That means that the grunts "in game" don't do that what you can see
on the screenshot --- so far. So the screenshot is "faked".

RE: Rainy with shadows?

Hello. I would like to just put in my two cents worth if I may. First off "The Harbor" is a wonderfull map. You did a great job.

I would like to just mention the fact that in a few maps that have rain, the shadows still appear under objects. I have never made a map before so this feature may not be possible to accomplish. Sorry if I speak up without having a clue about the process. Good luck and I am soooooo looking forward to it. Thanks for your hard work!

Yes, it is possible to remove the shadows by lowering the "SSAO Amount multiplier" or "sun color multiplier".
I tested it but I think it looks much better with shadows than without them. :)
I will reduce them a little bit but I think they should be visible.

Greetings,

Jaco

Oh.
And CaptainChris, I think the shadows depend on how thick the clouds are. The clouds look pretty thick, so I'd say you should have faint shadows or no shadows. Just my thoughts, though, it's obviously your decision.
I'm not online much. I only post if something catches my eye.

We delay the release to the time of Christmas.
Because Marwin needs more time to finish the FlowGraph.

Its very difficult to perfect the teamfight scripts.

So here are two new screenshots from my favourite place. :easter:
Do you think the leveldesign is to Crysis like?
I mean the original Crysis levels are the best one, so I try to use the same style by creating my maps.

What do you think about it?
Would you prefer a totally another style of mapping or one who looks more like the original one?

Has everyone seen the trailer?

@ screenshots: love the mountains in combination with the clouds cause it looks so realisic, you sure know how to produce the correct feeling for the player so it stays interesting (looking at the screenshots + trailer)

The style of the map does look a bit like those of crytek, but in my opinion the SP of crytek missed a few things. It seems you've done a good job, but I can only judge more after testing this.

Just keep this up :) good job so far!

I think we have 75% already finished.
The leveldesign is at 95 percent, the FlowGraphs at 35.

Yes, we are a small team for this map. :)
I invented the whole level, the dialogs, build the level and managed the team.
Hamers is responcible for the FlowGraphs and the mod folder, Pat21 builds the cutscenes and Jao_E integrates the AI navigation.

yeah good news! :) I took an attemp at those rain particles a few times but it never worked out, so I'd really like to see what you've made with them :)
