I have received a few PMs asking how I made the UAV hover.
Attached is a prefab for a flying platform that has all the basic elements and even travels in the camera direction when you are in the middle of the platform.
The little balls were left exposed (normally I make them invisible) so you can see what is going on.
There is lots you can do to expand on this basic principle to get all kinds of cool effects.

Since this map is set in such a beautiful location I am doing vegitation before all the man-made stuff.

All the trees, rocks, and large bushes are placed via brush and then cleaned up.
Due to the sheer size of the map I am using procedural vegitation for much of the small stuff, and then doing details around the key play areas.

The map will involve at least three main areas of gameplay, and will progress from the mouth of the canyon and back. Current estimated playtime is around two hours. It takes three minutes just to drive half-way across the active play area.

Damn dude, you're really going above and beyond with this one, I'm definitely impressed man. Your scenery definitely looks nice, and the sheer estimated size of it is leg wobbling. Lookin good, lookin good.

I have been working on my story just about each evening, and of course the story is ever expanding.

The map will now be split into two levels. And possibly become a mod.

Here is a teaser for the second half of the map.

I volunteered to go off the staff. I barely have enough free time at home to mod, which I enjoy the most. I don't have extra time to moderate and edit the wiki.
