Is it just me or does this map have a real British feel to it? Nice stuff man!

MORE UPDATES:

added veg around nanosuits base, added in more suit enemies, more patrols, and a truck full of guys that patrol about the place and (obviously) attack you on sight.

Is it just me or does this map have a real British feel to it? Nice stuff man!


thanks you very much :) yer its kind of based on a few old world war 2 films of brittish people killing people (germans) that i saw ages ago. still got loads of work to do on this though :( luckily it counts towards my IT school work as well :) i get to play games as homework!!

But just some notes(i am getting annoying with this,sorry ;()

Notes:
->Use more vegetation like nicegrass_medium,brushes(palkm,hill),rocks,trees(palms and some other).
->Use different textures(use for example forest or plain textures with the right materials).If you do that it will be even better.
->In the pics i saw some blank places.I know that u are doing this map few days but i would like to be ensured that you will fill up the place with some houses,watertowers etc!
->I will tell that again:Custom ToD pls!!!It makes the whole environenment better with nice lighting,sunshafts,sun rays and lighting.
You are doing great work so far andy and i think u will finally do a great map! :D

I have worked the TOD a bit. i think it looks much better now.

heres what ive doen this afternoon: ive added in some clouds and done more animation stuff with the suit enemies. only problem is, you will only see them doing it if u see them before they see you...

i cant decide which colour clouds look better out of the yellow and white...

also the beach was a bit too bright imo, so ive darkened it down a bit (in second picture)

as usual, all coments welcome :)

Seriusly now:
first pic:add more vegetation.textures,objects
second:I think you should high the mountains more and have nice grass textures and cliff brushes,put some towers also.
third:it is very nice,more vegetation i think(grass,leaves,little rocks)just to make it more realistic.
The clouds are looking nice.I prefer the second pic of clouds cause it suits to the tod.
Now you can work on these places(as the pics)and make them better and then post again some images.
I love how u keep updating every day!
And a final advice:When you take a screenie you should go to the console and put the following commands:
cl_hud 0(removes the hud)
e_screenshot_quality 1 or 0

I think the map is coming along nicely :tongue:

You just have to work on the vegetation a bit.
1 - Add some grass (i use bigpatch_medium or grass_a_pattern)
2 - Add some bushes (junglebush, cliffbush, round_leaf_bush..etc.)
3 - ADD BANANA TREES! They ALWAYS look nice. :D :D
