You have to have a weapon selected as it will not work with just your fists. (I think this is because it needs the reticle)
You have to be fairly close to the AI you are going to control.
You have to press the correct key once everything else has been done. I think that is the "10" key but I'm not sure. When the cutscene ends and you are released from the chair you will see a message telling you the correct key to use.

If you have that key mapped to anything else, then it will not work.

I wish I could map a function to a "type of key" (like the "use" key for instance) unfortunately. flowgraphs make you hard map to a specific key and, since everyone maps their keys differently, it is difficult to choose a key that works well for everyone.

I am actually planning on moving The Mutant Factor to a full mod for Crysis 2 so I can take advantage of the new lighting features of Cryengine 3. At that time I hope to enlist the aid of a coder to make it so that Mind Control is a selectable weapon and all you have to press is the "fire" key or mouse button.

Thanks for all of the compliments everyone. I hope this helps.

Hmm,....I'm pretty sure it was a number since they were less likely to be mapped elsewhere but I will need to go home and check in order to be sure.

Anyway, you get the point. Just make sure you don't have the key mapped to something else and it should work beautifully.

I really do wish I could do it another way but I'm not a coder.
