[RELEASE][CE2] Geo's Barriers Library

Introduction:

Hello guys! I proudly release my library of barriers for free, that will enlarge the quantity of objcets a level designer can use in his creations!
Got bored of the stock assets? Here is a new addition to your library!

Library Contents:
  • Brick Walls
  • Chainlink Fences
  • Concrete Block Walls
  • Guardrail Fences
  • Metal Fences
  • Plank Fences
  • Prison Fences
  • Wooden Fences
(223 *.cfg files in total)

Features:

Modeling
All models are optimised for Cryengine. They are detailed and on the same time low poly. Also, the physical proxys are made as well optimised as possible and big barriers like walls have a built in occluder for fps boosting!

Texturing
About 90% of the textures are 1024x1024, in order to keep the details sharp on every model, even at really close distance from the player. Textures that are 512x512 are smaller objcets that do not need that big resolution. The texture format I am using is DDS, for both diffuse and normal maps, and this format is also capable of alpha channels that are used in some cases.
High quality textures combined with low poly detailed models will do the trick!

Modularity
Any model that a level designer would need to be modular... well, it is! Walls, fences and everything that could be placed repeatedly in a level is designed in such way so that the level designer can make any shapes he needs!

Does anyone actually use this library? I can port it to CryEngine 3 if there are enough interested!
