Asset Creation: NVidia Apex Framework: Clothing

Postby Aeries » 04.12.2011, 21:18

Perhaps I'm barking up a totally noobish tree, but I just so happened to have found an Apex Clothing tutorial on Youtube for creating Apex clothing in 3ds Max and exporting it to UDK. Is it possible for this to work with CDK? If so, how? I've been briefly digging through the interwebs for answers to these questions and have thus far come up with nothing (mind you, work and school both full-time have restrained me to all of only a few minutes here and there for glances, lol) :P

I'm also wondering about the practicality of using Apex for hair (If not Apex, then what should I be using in CDK for nice, flowing realistic hair in-game?)

What I'm designing is still deep in the planning stages, sorting out the tools and assets I'll need. Thanks for reading. :)

Actually, nevermind, sorry for wasting your time! It appears I have solved my own problem. :]

Apex isn't supported, but the Cryengine has its own cloth setup for characters: http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDO ... oint+Setup
