Really nice maps! It reminds me on crysis 1. ;)

It will be great if someone can make whole crysis 1 levels in new SB3.

New version (1.5) of Crysis Revival Mod whit 3 maps for 2H30 gaming.

Download MOD:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CEBUG3O3

Changes:
-TOD-modification (lower brightness and blur) on maps
-Improvement of the finish-ground of the map 03
-Changed all textures (HD Detail Bump mapping)

The latest version is buggy (map 01), I would put the correct version (1.5) the morning line.
otherwise, you can paste the folder "scripts" in the folders "Crysis1Revival\GameCrysis2".

i put the scripts folder into gamecrysis2 just like you told! And its AWESOME!!!! i can have my own preferred weapons! thanks!! One little thing! dont take as complaining please okay? i have some graphic bugs in level one, and level 2! The same purpling stuff modsuki posted. Maybe its my pc only, but its still there. But without that its a trully amazing work! thank you being here!! You're great part of this community!

i played it, and... i really dont like it. i mean why is this vegetation so big? there is absolutly zero orientation and this is just one thing which needs to be improved.

leveldesign is not take an editor and place randomly some assets...

for the next time start with this. its just a little help, but a good beginning.

I liked the bonus map best, the final battle was great! We need more SP maps - there were loads for C1!

I can agree with you about the level, but I can't say that the "book" you've linked to is a good source of knowledge. I've read it's and I am sorry to say that it is rather insipid and empty, not to mention arguable structure and examples (sometimes it's just a collection of short notes on non-sequential topics, illustrated with some, often irrelevant, game). Maybe that resource would be more helpful: level-design.org.

And it is also great to learn from developer articles like these: http://www.clement-melendez.com/portfolio/articles.html that aren't only focusing on level design techniques but provide you with actual example of experience, workflow, a way of how a level was designed, how problems that appeared in the process were solved, etc.
