looks great, as you mentioned textures look a bit blurry, i think the specular edges on the rocks are overdone, unless the rocks are supposed to be like crystals. other then what has been mentioned by others it looks really neat for a cartoonist look.

Looks excellent, though I think upping the texture resolution on your terrain could do quite a bit of good.

Hey all quick status update on this project :)
We recently handed in our final project and are now returning to the piece to further polish it.
We have recently redesigned the castle, further detailed the vegetation and heavily tweaked the terrain.

Some of the grass models may seem rather large but thats just a silly mistake on my behalf XD

Seem to be having an issue with taking very high res screenshots as it ghosts in the left corner of every screenshot :/. I'm using custom res + e_screenshot to render out poster sized imagery for the university at the min, any help with this would be greatly appreciated :)

Not usually a big fan of cartoon style graphics but this does look really good :)

I rather like the color of the first images, it would be wonderful to see a character living in that world, I mean some close up and so, or at least small animal
...reminds me of dragon age origins

And with alot more polys. Just get this on dx11 with tesselation on the castle.
Got some shadows issues i just noticed to.

Very impressive, usually this style makes me literally feel sick and gives me head aches. But you've done it so tastefully that it almost doesn't effect me at all! Very nice balance. :)

I like your use of my Flowers :P They seem to be a really popular ticket around Crydev, I couldn't be more honored ;)

Looks absolutely gorgeous. It's great to see something stylised in CryEngine as opposed to striving with realism, especially when it's this accomplished.

yes i agree with above post , i love the style and toon feel of the land. Games dont need to be ultra realistic looking. just good style and design.
