CE3 Free SDK Studio

Now that we can share our maps, here you got the studio ready for use:

Just extract in the ( ...CryENGINE_FreeSDK\Game\Levels ) folder, and open the level file.

Hi guys, I'v crated a tutorial for setting up a model presentation Studio, since CE3SDK can´t share levels out from projects, I´ll provide TOD, material, geometry, and terrain layers for doing it yourself, the studio is just over the terrain, so you can use the vegetation tool on it, I´v also covered some things in this tutorial, like layer creation, and more, hope you guys like it !

Just some other samples, using Forest assets, and with those I'v wanted also to show how sky light can affect your asset render, my tod file is settled to a value of 5, here you ca see with a value of 1 and 10 respectively:

Here you can see how easy is to set it up, in the TOD editor:

And a quick tip about rendering lighter or darker, instead of changing light strength, and setting it for all 3 lights, you may want to just change the studio material, a darker material will make the HDR camera increase its exposition, making the object lighter, the opposite is also applicable, look this samples:

and here how to make this change, open the Material Editor, click the eyedroper "pick material from object" click the studio background, this should select the applied grey material, now just change the difuse color to a lighter or darker grey:

CE3SDK can´t share levels out from projects

Try saving with the Global Share selected in the Dropdown box.

This is a Level, a map in witch you can import your models/assets and them take screenshots for showcasing it, just download the file and extract in the levels folder, open the level file and place yous assets.

For skylight rendering I recommend using a environment probe rather than the TOD sky color because the environment probe takes into account light direction (realistic) while TOD lits uniformly from every angle (flat lighting). Not to mention you get good reflections too :)
