Animations of the player swinging the weapon. Have it so that when player clicks the left mouse button, it triggers a swinging attack.

What you need is what I mentioned before: Animations linked to Actions. Take a look at the Rocketlauncher.xml. There you will find a tag that defines which firemode will be used as a melee firemode, the firemode itself, and the action that it wants to use for the attack (ie where you will have to add your animation), although I can't find the action itself.. Look at for example the Fire animation of the SCAR (SCAR.xml) for reference.

So if I made a copy of the rocketlauncher.xml script and customized it with my own values, it should work?

Yes that could work, but i prefer you make your own because of copyright policy.

Yes, I would just be doing it for learning, and to get an understanding of how it works.

OK then i suppose you can do that just do not use it Commerivially. NOw Back to ME I HAVE a question HOW CAN I CREATE A WEAPON FOR THE CE3 MODSDK ive looked at the tutorials and the wiki and the DOCS but it doesnt help please tell me how people PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Look at the XMLs at \Game\Scripts\Entities\Items\XML\Weapons, you will be wanting to do something offhand.xml and fists.xml
