AI avoiding local player

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to CryEngine3. I'm currently trying to have the AI avoid the local player, as if there was some kind of forbidden area around him, so he can walk through a crowd of NPCs without them running into him every second. Do you have any idea how to do this?

Try with AI--> Forbidden area; You xan found it in the Rollup Bar

I already use forbidden areas, but they're stuck to the position you put them in the editor (you have to triangulate paths every time you change them). What I need is a kind of dynamic "forbidden area" which is attached to the player's position. Thus he can move through a crowd, and AI walk around him, avoid him, but it doesn't change their final destination.

Maybe you can set up a parameter check on the AI so that if the player is within range they will go to a randomly generated spot.
