As many of you are probably already aware, last week Crytek attended GDC 2012 in sunny San Francisco! We had an awesome time, it was a great show and we got to meet lots of cool and interesting people :) It was on the Tuesday that we headed into the GDC hall to start setting up the Crytek booth and all of the awesome contained within!

With over 20 machines to setup (including a few laptops), we had lots of plugging and cabling to do!

Some final preparation before the floodgates opened! On the right you can see 5 Warface pods, on the other side of that is the GFace & Fibble area. Center screen has two CryENGINE 3 pods. Left of that are Cinebox and another CE3 pod. Far left is the RTI pod and on the other side is the Nexuiz pod.

Warface was immensely popular and there was never a moment for the whole 3 days where people weren’t playing it, many coming back for 2nd and 3rd tries!

We’d manage to rustle up a couple of us for a group photo on the last day but by this stage, the other half were already down at Murphy’s pub enjoying a long-awaited, cold beer or two!

It was great fun with great people (and great steak)! Did you manage to make it to GDC this year? What about GDC Europe in August?

Oh, i almost forgot... we may just have a few of these left over to hand out willy-nilly! To those of you we still owe shirts to from before, thank you for your patience and we'll be sending them out to you very soon :))

Yeah the dynamic navigation areas are amazing! will this be in the next update?

Fantastic work guys, I see significant Improvements over the MODSDK's performance and usability. The refined Tesselation looks like you guys tore it apart and added a lot of functions for output.

I cant wait to get my hands on it!!!

Also, I would like to officially request a CryDev T-Shirt :D

Yeah i don't know what the guitar guy is talking about but there are major improvements over the Crysis 2 MODSDK. We have Scaleform access! And finally a proper DX11 implementation is coming pretty soon.

That CryDev t-shirt looks yummy.
