Wreckage

Postby I-E-D » 23.11.2010, 20:00

The final episode of the popular Rainy Days trilogy is under development by talented community members; CaptainChris, Pat21, Hamers, jupph and Jaco_E. After the success of the first two episodes, The Harbour and Rainy Days with the latter being released almost 7 months ago, the guys behind the series are determined to make the last in the series the best and most memorable. Here's a list of some of the features you can expect to see in The Wreckage.

Cinematic flair: Heliflights, stealth parts and thunderous action! Wreckage mixes the strengths of Crysis with something new. Because of the interesting gameplay variations there won't be boredom and it creates the "rollercoaster gameplay" where you get sucked into the game so deep that you never want to stop playing.
For a cinematic atmosphere professional voice actors are a must. Cause of their help you are able to enjoy the whole mod with a german synchronisation and english subtitles.

Great-Looking Visuals: Hand made environments in different scenarios promise a graphic beauty like you know it from the original game.

Bugless: We learned a lot from "Rainy Days" and one of our purposes is to create a bugfree game experience.

Below you can see the trailer for Wreckage, as well as a few screenshots. Can the final episode live up to the quality of the other episodes in the mod? You'll have to wait until release to find that out!

That trailer was pretty kick-ass. The attitude of it was very "hardcore" while nothing being over the top. Felt a bit like COD.

As for the mod itself; I will download it, I will enjoy it :)

I love the trailer... but this is almost an exact copy, shot-for-shot of the CoD: Black Ops trailer

Awesome, too bad I don't have wars.

One comment though, add some shaking of the camera in that helicopter crash scene. :)

Looks fine, and if mod is as good as Rainy Days there will be some quality time playing it :))

Oh, an eagle eye :P I took the CoD Trailer as an inspiration to cut the videos because a few people at my last mod criticised my trailers. But all recorded scenes are of course like they are shown in the mod and all (the scenario, the action and the story with dialouges) was planned by me and built up from the ground two months before the newest Cod was announced in april.

Ok, Sir. But you could download Crysis Wars for free and it should be playable in crysis too, but i can't promise it.
