Postby Andrew Gorman » 12.10.2011, 22:13

Just wondering if the interest is there. If so post here. And devs, Im gessing I'll have to have cryteks permission before I threw a app together?

Sadly I wouldn't hold my breath on a mobile CE3 engine. I remember when UDK first announced the UDK mobile engine, it took about 6 months from the public announcement to get it released, not to mention the development time that went into it before they told the public. Even if its been in the pipeline for development I would say we are still a year to a year and a half before it comes out, if it even comes out.

I wasn't talking about the engine. I meant like the forums.

Yes, most people do have other things to do during the day (or night for that matter). You have to work on your patience, it's only been a day since you started the topic. A hundred people won't comment on this within that timeframe. No need to double post unless it's absolutely necessary. :)

I'm not sure if I'd prefer an app for CryDev. Most "app websites" are either limited in their features or becomes a pain in the ass to navigate in. But if it's done right it could be really good!

I use my android 99.99% of the time so that's what gave me the idea. That and my browser doesn't work the best with this site and a app would fix that. Still waiting on a go ahead from crytek and more people to say they'd use it

Let's not start a war but it would be very nice an app for both although still Android(open-source)>iOS(half-open-source)
Me, myself and the next door hopefully bright future!

No point of that app. I would prefer browser on my Galaxy SII.
