Love the ''clean'' and colorful style of the map, eheh.
You've gotta work more on the beach, though.. it doesn't look that great. :P

Wow, the "port" really looks like the port in BF3! Very good work! :))
A bit criticism: :P
Like F37 said, I think you could add some more grass objects to the ground. Looks still a bit empty...
I also think that the "big_leave_plant" (i think thats the name) you placed on the meadow belongs more to wet areas like the surrounding of an river.
Nevertheless, nice work! :D

Looks great, just wondering how similar to the original map it will be.. I mean, it's looking like you're going your own way right now (not necessarily a bad thing though!) :P

DeviDante, I had some problem when did a landscape... And now you can see some place more different than original. But I am sure that it did not worse that original. :)

UPDATE(26.03.12)
Hello everyone!
Today(26.03) I present you my new big update. So I'll tell you about gameplay, ToD, AI and new changes...
OK, let's go! :)
My map completed at about 60%. And what I do during this 6 month...? This:
90% landscape. Some places on map will be different from original. And it's not worse... I think.
95% cutscenes - There are flying fighters and capturing flags.
70% environment. - Still remainded: main air base and one village on right island.
25% AI system - only my little Flow Graph. No Ai points, no forbidden area.
Some customs: mp5, m1911, SU24, Abrams... In future new hands.
AI:
New flow graph, it's like as BOTs in BF2. Thay capturing flags, respawning ,
attaсking enemy(lol) and a lot of new thinks... :)

ToD:
I very long time experemented with ToD... And I think it is not bad!
:) It's like in BF3... But more real and more contrast.

I think that I'll do 2 versions of map: first with BOTs, second without BOTs( for multiplayer).
Now I am very hard working at AI. TOMMOROW YOU WILL CAN SEE FIRST GAMEPLAY TRAILER! :))
About environment.

I think it like more BF3 then BF2. But it's more alive then in BF3. Animals,
winds in different areas, more different plants, bushes and trees.
So, I think I sad you all what I want. :P

Wooow..
That looks amazing !

One thing I'd like to ask though, Battlefield2 was all about vehicles.. here we got VTols, Tanks and Jeeps.
What about Helicopters, Planes (which I've seen in the video, but you didn't show flying) and the car (the super-fast one) ? :P
I'd really like to play it if vehicles are good to play with, they're the most important thing imho ! :D

Good work dude, I prefer your ToD to BF3's, higher contrast make it "hotter". In BF3, there is a cold blue filter :yuck:

I second DevilDante suggestion about vehicules, though drivable planes should't be your highest priority.

Level design and mapping may still be improved with vegetation and rock placement, but its already looking good :easter:
