Or if the mod also has .bat files inside the mod folder, launch it via that.

Hey,

Whats the mod you are trying to use ?

I am not familiar with the steam version of Crysis because it has many flaws such as no 64 bits exe and weird mod support.

You may try to add a shortcut on your desktop and modify the properties adding -mod -name_of_the_mod.

The 1.2.1 hotfix for Crysis only fixes :
* Fixed security hole in code that caused client and server crashes.

That shouldn't impact your issues.

I think EIM mod required a manipulation with the editor also.

You should try a SP "campaign" mod such as "FCFort" or "mandate of heaven" to validate the ability of your steam version to run mods.

Okay. Man, i wish this was less complicated, can I run the EIM mod in the editor ?

I don't know, I havn't followed EIM updates since more than one year. I still suggest you to try a SP campaign mod first. Custom levels are more fun to play than a tweaked Crysis campaign (even if I tweaked it a lot :easter: ).
