I am hoping for a crysis spinoff that returns the series to its roots and attempts to push the tech to its limits.

yeah, I'm hoping for a Crysis spinoff, that is, an open gameplay world but with no aliens, just VERY smart AI Koreans, lots of vehicles, and destuctable environments.

A variety of Urban/Jungle/Desert/Artic environments would be nice too.

For me, these days THE AI MAKES THE SINGLEPLAYER GAME... that is what it is all about, playing with them, gaming them. I like to see them taking cover, flanking, giving covering fire, vaulting obstacles, advancing, retreating, searching, calling in support, using vehicles/weapons tactically, responding to sniper fire, working in squads, etc. etc.

Imho, this would be a HUGE leap forward in bringing us to systemic gameplay.

Or make it as a singleplayer add-on for Warface.

If it's TS4, the AI "glitch" from the original may make an appearance. Try not giving the AI ANY weapons in TS1.

yeah, I'm talking about enemy AI...

Honestly, friendly AI is sometimes more of a frickin' nuisance, a distraction, and does too much of the killing.

Yeah, friendly AI is a serious tough spot to work on.... you make them too strong, and the player complains about being able to sit back and do nothing. You make them too weak, and the player complains about them never helping.

That said, I'd love to see Crytek pushing tech when it comes to AI. Rushing, retreating, flanking.... just general squad behavior.
