How to Add a .pak file as a wieldable weapon?

Postby RohinParmar95 » 23.04.2012, 21:54

Sorry I'm pretty new to the engine, but I'd like to figure out how to add a new weapon to the CE3. I've downloaded a .pak file flashlight (weldable object) how would I install this so it's selected in the equipment selection?

.pak-files are typically placed into "Game"-folder.

How would then I select to use the object, and all of it's animations, and whatnot?

Items contained in pak-file should be available in objects browser in RollupBar.

No what I mean is how can I assign it as a default weapon to use. The object is a flashlight so how can I make the light, and the animations all compatible with the model once it's assigned as a default spawning weapon. I know how to assign a equip pack as a level start via FlowGraphing already.

Asset is made for CE2 and also includes custom animation setup, which means it cannot be used in CE3 without major changes.
