Vertex color for opacity/transparency

Postby laharl9999 » 12.07.2017, 13:18

I created a .cgf file from Blender with CryBlend and use vertex painting to asign a black vertex on the edges of the plane of my .cgf.
I would like to use vertex color to make transparency where there is black vertex.
How can I do that in CryEngine material editor ?
It seems vertex color is only used for deformation or in blending.
I don't want blending, just the texture applied to the plane is suposed to fade gradualy until 100% transparent when it reaches the edges of the plane.
