The CRYENGINE Fmod Project DLC gives you access to the official CRYENGINE Fmod Project used to integrate Audio in the CRYENGINE GameSDK Sample Project.
After unzipping the audio.pak, you need to copy the CRYENGINE Fmod Project into the audio folder:

The project will give an overview of the possibilities Fmod and CRYENGINE have to offer and shows best practices in how to set up the project structure in Fmod, and to use it together with CRYENGINE's Audio Controls Editor (ACE).
By installing the CRYENGINE Fmod Project DLC you will enable the Audio Controls Editor to display all setup connections between CRYENGINE’s ATL and the Fmod audio middleware. This in turns gives you the freedom to rearrange connections any way you want. Additionally you can use the Fmod Project DLC as a reference to learn how Crytek Audio Designers use Fmod. We hope this will help you on your path to create your own Fmod project running with the new CRYENGINE Audio Translation Layer (ATL).

Firelight Technologies’ Fmod middleware can be used for free in your CRYENGINE projects as long as it is noncommercial or educational.
The folks at Firelight Technologies are happy to provide you with a Fmod license that suits your projects requirements. Please contact them to receive a license, at the link below. They have multiple options that cover scenarios from student academic to AAA.
If you are not planning to sell your game commercially, Firelight Technology is offering a free license for non-commercial projects. This Non-Commercial License can be used for creating game prototypes, developing freeware or working on academic projects.

Licenses of Music Assets are single project licenses and only permit the use of the Music Asset in one project.
If the Buyer wishes to use a Music Assets in another project, an additional license must be obtained.
The Buyer shall be entitled to cut and edit the music pieces within Music Assets only as required for incorporation into a project.
All Crytek assets are covered under the CRYENGINE Limited License Agreement.
