CRYENGINE events in April
April is already well under way, but there are still a lot of CRYENGINE events coming up this month. Find out where you can find us in the next couple of weeks below.
April 12, VR World Congress, Bristol, England
This past week CRYENGINE Creative Director Frank Vitz gave a talk about Meeting the Visual Demands of Immersive VR Content at VRWC. You can read a live blog of his talk here.
April 18-20, Quo Vadis, Berlin, Germany
As the Main Sponsor at Quo Vadis this year, CRYENGINE will be hosting the Quo Vadis Indie Showcase. Crytek Co-Founder and Managing Director Avni Yerli will be doing a panel on VR, and if you would like to try out Crytek’s upcoming VR free solo rock climbing game The Climb, we’ll have a demo station at our booth.
April 26-29, FMX, Stuttgart, Germany
You’ll find quite a few of us at Animation, Effects, Games, and Transmedia Conference FMX this year. Crytek Founder and CEO Cevat Yerli will give a keynote speech, Director of Production David Bowman will talk about designing for VR, CRYENGINE Creative Director Frank Vitz will discuss CRYENGINE’s role in powering VR Score, and HR Director Kevin Moore will discuss careers at Crytek. Over on the FMX Virtual Production Stage there will be a demo of Film Engine, a partner of Crytek and CRYENGINE, and a talk about the future of film production technology with Jean-Colas Prunier.
And of course, you’ll be able to try the latest VR title built on CRYENGINE, The Climb, at our booth.
April 28-30, Reboot Develop, Split, Croatia
Reboot is billed as “one of the most unique games industry and game developer conferences in Europe,” and we’re excited to be represented there this year with talks from Director of Audio Simon Pressey and The Climb’s Executive Producer Elijah Freeman. If you’re there, be sure to stop by our booth and give The Climb a try as well.
