CRYENGINE Update 5.3.2 is now available for download

CRYENGINE Update 5.3.2 is now available for download

Today’s release includes fixes and marks the launch of a new Crash Reporter, which makes sending a bug report directly to our QA team the quickest and simplest that it’s ever been. We’d like to thank you all for your contributions and feedback which has helped us to pull together this latest update.

This is a minor release and is intended to address problems and fix issues rather than add major new features. For more information on the planned features for our next major release, CRYENGINE 5.4, please check out our public roadmap

We couldn’t make these and future improvements to CRYENGINE without the vital support of the community, so thank you for all of your assistance and feedback.

Crash Reporter

The new Crash Reporter has now been activated. Should CRYENGINE crash, then the following window will open:

This will allow you to send us information (along with any necessary files) and create a bug report that is sent directly to our QA team. Reporting a crash directly to us has never been easier, and this information will help us improve CRYENGINE for everyone. We do hope people will make use of this feature, as every error report is valuable.

Audio: Fmod

• Fixed: Fmod dlls now properly added to the build.

Engine General

• Fixed: Added GeomEntity not visible in GameLauncher.

• Fixed: Merge changes from main to main_stabilization - resolve former limitation to just 4-wheeled vehicles in PhysX.

Network General

• Fixed: Dedicated crash on start in CEnvironmentProbeEntity.

Known Issue:

We are aware that there is still an issue with "-cryselect". We did update our release notes page with a work around. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience while we're working on a fix.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback, comments, and questions on our forumsFacebook & Twitter

I feel that more attractive to people is that a engine run more fantastic game levels, maps,I think if crytek publish more fantastic game levels, maps for cryengine, even pay for it(not too expensive),peoples users will like it,this make cryengine more attractive, unreal engine4 publish a lot of game levels, maps(large enviroment,a lot of so amazing...what to say...),demos(all this is free), etc. CEV only have two map,may be now crytek lack of peoples to do it,but when crytek and cryengine become more stronger, this should be a consideration, and may be now crytek should do it,I only give a suggestion,do or not do it depend on crytek

Good to see more updates, puts more confidence from me into the priorities that Crytek is putting towards their main public engine builds. Fantastic!

Comments schould be also be Editable and also NewLines, and on import Projects schould be a file Dialog Window not only a Folder Window because there could be placed a link of location per Copy&Paste: drag&drop a project Location does not work at launcher, this is main improvement and required.
