CRYENGINE 5.7 Long Term Support Update Highlights:
As with any release, we appreciate your support in discovering bugs so that we can fix them. Please report any issues on GitHub or the dedicated thread on the official CRYENGINE Forum. We will endeavor to resolve issues as soon as possible, including releasing hotfixes if required.
Alongside the CRYENGINE 5.7 Long Term Support Update launch, we will now distribute source code via a private repository for registered developers, in line with standard industry practice. You will need to create a CRYENGINE.com account and request access via the CRYENGINE contact form to access source code. In addition to accessing source code on this new private repository, you will also be able to report bugs and send feedback. You can check out our docs page to learn step-by-step how to get CRYENGINE 5.7 LTS source code here.
The CRYENGINE 5.7 Long Term Support Update will be the only version of CRYENGINE 5 supported going forward. As such, we strongly recommend you upgrade to this version of the engine. We will continue to fix blockers and significant bugs as we go forward for CRYENGINE 5.7 LTS, and we’d appreciate you helping us identify issues so we can fix problems. If you haven’t already, please sign up for an official CRYENGINE account and register your games with us so we can better support you and learn about any issues you might be having when switching to CRYENGINE 5.7 LTS.
In addition to supporting CRYENGINE 5.7 LTS for your projects going forward, we are working on the next full version of the engine. You can read more about our overall plans in a recent interview with CRYENGINE General Manager Arto Ruotsalainen and watch this AMA with community questions, including a discussion about the forthcoming CRYENGINE Beta program and much more.
If you have questions or feedback about CRYENGINE, let us know in the comments, on the forum, or via Facebook and Twitter. You can pick up tips and tricks about our game development, ask questions, and more by joining our community and the CRYENGINE development team over on our official CRYENGINE Discord channel.
If you find a bug in the engine, please report it directly on GitHub, which helps us to process the issue quickly and efficiently. Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel, where we host a range of content, including tutorials covering all aspects of the engine and game design. Want to show your love for CRYENGINE? In the years of my research about learning cryengine I couldn't find any full tutorial or documentation from crytek and it makes me disappointed 😢 but in other hand I love it and I really want to learn the engine
This problem stops me everytime
If u can provide better documentation or tutorial about this engine, it becomes more popular because of its power and better UI.
Please read and response to this comment so I can find new hope to learn and use it.
Im a pro programmer, If I could learn and use it, I can help with engine open source development.
With all my love ;))))
I love to learn and use cryengine but there is some problems to be solved:
1. There is no good documentation of c++ api or nodes(if there is suggest me)
2. All the tutorials on youtube page are useless to amateur users, because there is no 0 to 100 tutorial for engine. If u watch some of videos, there are just talking out of subject in video and it becomes useless for example the jump game tutorial is not in a way to learn each video you have to know how they built the basics of that level but when u start to learn, u face to completed project in tutorial and it makes the video boaring :((((

Flappy Boid? Are you serious? For beginner game developers, if Im understandig how to create "Flappy Boid" how this konwgles to helped for creatig another game for example as Crysis, Or Son of Rom? Cryengine has so more features for level design but no actual information for use for begniners. NExt Question, Why you cant creating programming system like Unreal blueprint, today 2022 year game desingers must be has tools for fast creating gameplay and level programing with not write code C++. For creating UI/UX game expereance with useing adobe flash, This is so old method.
When cryteck also has difficulties, the publicity work of cryengine is really average, and there are countless touching and great design and function points that even need to be explored by oneself, but cryengine is definitely one of the best engines in the world!
1) Cry-Nic, you're saying that Crytek released what was promised on the roadmap and that if someone doesn't like it here, they can go find another place/engine and etc. Well, yes, but It's like you gave a word, then you changed a word. Which version of the roadmap to be exact, Cry-Nic? Your company has been shifting the date on the roadmap many times since 2019. Web archive remembers it all.
While I can understand where you are coming from the Cryengine team has been pretty transparent over the last 6 months that they shifted their focus from pushing out another 5.x release to the next iteration of Cryengine. 5.7 is an LTS update - Long Term Support, which provides a more stable version to all existing users of Cryengine so the can continue with their projects.
They released several news updates and live streams to this affect, and even held a live Q&A to answer questions about 5.7 and whats coming next.
While not in 5.7, I think we can expect a lot of what you saw dropped from the roadmap in whats next: the next iteration of Cryengine being used to develop Crysis 4.

@opermaks crytek may be saved, I do not hope, I follow Unigine, debt?
Crytek is alive with its customers and followers, crytek is dead now because it has a weak strategy ... Amazon Lumberyard and Autodesk Stringer are a lesson for you fanatics! I understand that the German economy is collapsing, a small company that is nothing like Crytek!, Beg to be saved! So follow QAnon & Z & R ;-)
"Crytek’s roadmap is intended to only give an insight into Crytek’s overall functional and technology directions and does not represent a commitment to deliver specific functionality in the future." literaly says below roadmap, i dont know what are you smoking but its not good for you ;)
@matasaugustinas97 Absolutely right, this covers them from lawsuits, but it can't cover them from the loss of reputation, from making their product unpopular and from losing people's faith in their product. Making a small print with disclaimer won't make people trust you.
Unreal Engine 5 is the future.
The court will not consider the claim, since there are no agreements between you and the company. No one is even obliged to warn you about this in order to supposedly protect themselves from a lawsuit. You are warned in order for you to make your own project or choose an engine, depending on what you want and can implement after the already implemented version. This is not for protection, but to sober up people who are besotted with their fantasies. For their own sake.
"and you hereby waive any and all claims based on the roadmap".
And you don't need to take care of someone else's reputation. It's none of your business.
I'm talking to you initially on the topic and with respect. And you're just being rude and aping. CryTek in their Roadmap just share their thoughts about the development of their engine and try to keep feedback. Tell me again that this is not so. Say that the roadmap gives you the word, swears and promises. No one has to implement something for you. No one owes you the support of some special reputation. And in general, no one owes you anything just in fact. It's time to grow up and understand such simple things, and not cry that you were not given a toy that you were allegedly promised or obliged to. And I also wish your parents to take care of your upbringing and communication culture.
there are only 5.7 engine,, then how can i download gamesdk for 5.7 engine
