Community Spotlight: Call of R'lyeh

Every week we bring you a sample of our favorite community games, levels and assets. This week we delve into the darkest depths of literature with "Call of R'lyeh", Martin Kocisek's game set in the lost sunken city of R'lyeh, prison of Cthulhu.

Today we will be exploring the city of R'lyeh in an atmospheric walking simulator inspired by Lovecraft's mythos. As a player you are pulled into Cthulhu's dream which is set in the formerly sunken city of R'lyeh where Cthulhu is buried.

Your task will be to find ten artifacts which will reveal the history of cosmos, gods and the human race in a beautiful and intricate level full of details. Gameplay time should be around one hour or more, but even in that short time you can see the love poured into this project.

Martin Kocisek from Slovakia has worked on all assets and level design, which he has been showcasing on our wesbite. Gaël Perazzelli joined as a programmer after a recruitment on the CRYENGINE forums around two weeks ago. The game has been in development for roughly two years now.

The game is now on Steam Greenlight. Vote it up to help support these two fellow indie developers:
